Bigg Boss 13: Dalljiet Kaur - 'Shaleen and I Are Absolutely Cordial Now'

Dalljiet revealed that she and Shaleen hold no grudges against each other and only wish well for each other and the well-being of their son, which we call some ideal co-parenting goals.

Actress Dalljiet Kaur has been in the news not only for her acting career but also for her divorce from her husband of 6 years, actor Shaleen Bhanot. Dalljiet dragged Shaleen and her in-laws to court over domestic violence allegations and it was revealed that she was in an abusive marriage, before her separation in 2015 came through. However, like model parents, both Dalljiet and Shaleen have been co-parenting their son Jaydon. Opening up on her current equation with her ex-husband, Dalljiet says, "Shaleen and I are absolutely cordial now, we created a beautiful soul called Jaydon. I am raising him and he is a part of it on and off and that's about it. He is happy in his life and I am very happy in mine and it's lovely to co-exist like that." Dalljiet Kaur in Bigg Boss 13: Career, Love Story, Controversies – Check Profile of BB13 Contestant on Salman Khan’s Reality TV Show

Initially, there were reports of how the makers had approached both Shaleen and Dalljiet to do this season, but the latter backed out if her ex was to enter the show. Refuting these rumours, Dalljiet revealed to Mid-day, "I don't think I am that big in the industry that I can put such conditions in front of producers. I feel that Shaleen and I are very good individuals. He meets Jaydon once in a while and we are in a good place as of now. I think he is doing a show already. He is in a happy state himself and I am literally nobody to make any statement on his life, that's not fair and I feel I am not an individual who will do that. We are just happy where we are. Everything else is completely his choice. I genuinely wish him happiness."

She also adds, "Shaleen and I are absolutely cordial now, we created a beautiful soul called Jaydon. I am raising him and he is a part of it on and off and that's about it. He is happy in his life and I am very happy in mine and it's lovely to co-exist like that."

Revealing that she and Shaleen hold no grudges against each other and only wish well for each other and the well-being of their son, Dalljiet had earlier said, "Shaleen and I speak to each other on and off because he also keeps busy. We are in a decent space. I don't hold any grudge or ill feelings against him. I don't want people to see me as a bechari." Well... now that is some ideal co-parenting goals.
