Last night's episode of Bigg Boss 12 was a cringe-fest, major thanks to Sreesanth, Karanvir Bohra, and Shivashish Mishra, who passed homophobic comments on TV actor, Rohit Suchanti, who entered the Bigg Boss house as a wild card contestant. From Karanvir and Shivashish saying things like "he swings both the ways" to Sreesanth mocking him by acting pansy in front of Dipika Kakar, who also didn't stop him and kept laughing. This was the same show on which host Salman Khan tried to change the outlook of others towards the LGBTQ+ community by explaining sexual orientation to one of the contestants last year.
Bigg Boss 11 contestant, Vikas Gupta, who also heard a lot of homophobic comments in last season has slammed Karanvir, Sreesanth, Shivashish for their homophobic comments on Rohit and others who supported them. Vikas is especially disappointed with his friend Dipika Kakar, who didn't stop Sreesanth, while he was mocking Rohit in front of her. Bigg Boss 12: Sreesanth, Karanvir Bohra and Shivashish Mishra Make Homophobic Jokes on Rohit Suchanti And We Are Counting On Salman Khan To Reprimand them.
Here's what Vikas has to say on the issue:
I am extremely upset after what I saw today on #BigBoss12 on @ColorsTV . So I wrote this ‘The Color Purple’ . Hoping it reaches the right people who read and share it ahead . It’s important that we don’t let people think it’s okay to do this #TheColourPurple #BeKind pic.twitter.com/ohE6m8vgQy

Vikas has raised a brilliant point in this letter. He has said that the problem is not Sreesanth, Karanvir and Shivashish teasing Rohit by calling him gay. The real problem is that they have used alternative sexuality as something to make fun of. We really hope Salman Khan reprimands them on the coming Weekend Ka Vaar and set another example. They need to be told that not every fair guy is gay. And even if he is, it's none of their concern, unless the guy comes and tells them about it.
