Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 12 is one of the much-awaited show of the year. As another edition of the most popular and controversial TV reality show Bigg Boss is all set to begin in a fortnight, the names of various celebrities like Dipika Kakar, Milind Soman, Uttaran fame Tina Dutta, former cricketer Sreesanth among others, have started doing the rounds. While there are many speculations around the show, about contestants, hosts, themes, and so on, we now hear is that popular devotional singer, Anup Jalota, is expected to enter the Salman Khan's controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss 12.
Reportedly, Anup Jalota will not participate in a pair but individually. According to a report in Indian Express, the singer was reluctant to become a part of the show when he was first approached. Report also suggested that the makers then convinced him. Indian Express quoted a source as saying, "Initially, Anup was a little apprehensive of doing Bigg Boss. He has had a clean image with hardly any controversies. But the makers managed to convince him. He will be one of the single celebrity contestants in the show. Given his age, he could either turn out to be a favourite who the contestants will respect, or he could irk the younger lot. Whatever be it, we are sure he will add his own flavour to the show."
Speaking of Salman Khan's pay-scale, a report in an online portal suggests that the actor has hiked his fees for the latest season of Bigg Boss. If the reports are anything to go by, Salman is charging a whopping amount of Rs. 14 crore per episode. Woah! that's certainly a huge amount, isn't it? As per a 2017 report, "It is said that Salman charged around Rs. 2.5 crore per episode from BB4 to BB6. Thereafter, he doubled his fees to Rs. 5 crore for BB7. Thereafter, he charged Rs. 5.5 crore for BB8, Rs. 7-8 crore for BB9, Rs. 8 crore for BB10 and Rs. 11 crore for BB11."
