They have shelled out a lot of money to pay to these contestants, who are not entertaining enough for the ardent fans of the show. Reports suggest that Anup Jalota, who is the seniormost member of the house is also the highest paid contestant as he gets around a whopping Rs 45 lakh per week. A source has revealed to BollywoodLife, “The channel wants elders to watch the show. The younger audience sees it on the net. This time the competition is with family dramas so the channel shelled a huge amount to get him on the show.” The Bhajan Samrat recently ended his relationship with girlfriend Jasleen Matharu over a task.
