Surbhi Rana, who hails from Himachal Pradesh, is now one of the contestants in the twelfth season of Bigg Boss. Surbhi, who has entered the show as a wild card with Romil Chaudhary, is a Dentist by profession. Surbhi, who is a commoner, has already gained popularity after her stint in MTV's reality show. Yes, you read that right. Born in 1991, the 27-year-old has impressed everyone when she was a contestant of MTV Roadies Xtreme 2018. She was in Neha Dhupia's Gang and was in the top six contestants in Rannvijay Singh's show. Speaking of Roadies Xtreme, Surbhi and commoner Kriti Verma, who has been now eliminated from Bigg Boss 12, are best friends as they both are ex-Roadies.
For the uninitiated, Surbhi had entered the Bigg Boss Outhouse along with Kriti Verma, Roshmi Banik and Mital Joshi, a day before Bigg Boss 12 went on-air. These four contestants, who had come in (two) pairs stayed in the Outhouse, while the viewers were able to watch them on the Voot app. However, only two contestants could go inside the Bigg Boss house and the decision was in the hands of the viewers. Well, they chose Kriti and Roshmi, who have now been eliminated on Weekend Ka Vaar with Salman Khan.
Before entering the house, Surbhi has given several press interviews, where she admits to having watched all the episodes of the current season and feels the show will work in her favour. In a statement to Mumbai Mirror, she said, "I’m coming back like a wounded tiger who knows what’s happening in the jungle. I’m more dangerous than before. I have analysed everyone’s personality."
Refusing to talk about why she was voted out the first time, Surbhi further told the daily, "I was very confident when I had entered the house for the first time. I don’t want to talk about why I was voted out but yes, it was shocking! That said, I am prepared for any possibility. I always wanted to be on Bigg Boss, so I will be back with a bang."

As we know, Romil and Nirmal Singh were eliminated last night, Salman gave them a choice that one of them could go back to the house but which must me decided amongst themselves. However, without taking much of the host or audience's time, Nirmal said he would like to go home, sending his brother back to the Bigg Boss 12 house.
In the preview episode, we saw Romil enters the house not alone but with MTV Roadies Xtreme 2018 former contestant Surbhi Rana.
