While ever since the makers announced that the house will have a mix of individual celebrities and couples this year, all of us have been guessing who could it be; There were many speculations around the show, about contestants, hosts, themes, and so on. Names like Gurmeet Chaudhary - Debina Bannerjee, Asha Negi - Rithvik Dhanjani, Dipika Kakar -Shoaib Ibrahim, Milind Soma, - Ankita Konwar, among others were doing the rounds on the internet. However, at the press launch of Bigg Boss 12, Salman Khan revealed the first celebrity couple to enter the show.
The first celebrity couple is none other than the stand-up comedienne Bharti Singh and husband (writer) Haarsh Limbachiyaa. The couple have been confirmed as the first jodi to enter Salman's show; The actor introduced the two at the show’s launch in Goa last week. Well, this is a great news as we have seen Bharti only cracking jokes and making us all laugh, but now we'll get to see the real her.
Confirming the news, Bharti, in a statement to Indian Express, said, "After a long honeymoon, we flew to Argentina for Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK) together. And now I think we might just plan our baby on the reality show (laughs). The makers had spoken to me about doing the show at the time of KKK. When they told me I will enter with Haarsh, I was happy. He doesn’t have time for me otherwise."
The comedienne further revealed that the couple will make sure that they play cool during Bigg Boss 12. She further added, "We have decided that we will maintain our patience. Haarsh tells me that how many days will you survive just by making people laugh. But I know I won’t react until provoked. Also, I will have my own personal shoulder to cry on, so I am sorted. As for Haarsh, it’s a paid holiday for him. His wife will be there to take care of him throughout."
On the other hand, Haarsh told the daily that he and his lady are scared about entering the Bigg Boss house. He further added, "Although the audience will get to see us the way we are, you never know what comes ahead. One wrong move and our image could be tarnished."
