Self-proclaimed mastermind of this season, Romil Chaudhary was the last one to sit on the hot seat. The debate session didn’t go well as both, Vikas and Jai opposed his behaviour in the house. According to them Romil always tries to point out the negatives of a person and does not know how to main relationships. In his defense, Romil states that his pure intention is to win the game and maintain relationships outside the Bigg Boss house.
Dipika Kakar is questioned by Jai for not maintaining any relationships in the house apart from Sreesanth and her bond. He also mentions that her journey was overshadowed by Sreesanth. Disagreeing to all the allegations, Dipika tells that her relationship with Sreesanth is pure and probably it is one of the strongest bonds in the Bigg Boss house. He also adds that she knows that Sreesanth and her will be in the top 2.
After an intense session, it is time for Karanvir Bohra to sit on the hot seat. Vikas Gupta stands against Karanvir and questions his leadership qualities in the show. He is further blamed for his unselfish behaviour. Romil is also against him in the debate, but Deepak supports him and states that Karanvir is a pure soul. Karanvir finally justifies himself as being what he is in the show and he has always tried to prioritize himself over others when required.
As the debate resumes, Vikas tells Sreesanth that when he is angry, he ends up saying hurtful things or misbehaves even with the guests. He gives example of how he misbehaved with Gauahar Khan, who entered the house a couple of days back. Sreesanth apologises to Gauahar, but tells Vikas that he should ask Gauahar how the topic started. He says that Romil instigated him first and that's when he lost his cool.
Dipika and Vikas come to console him where Vikas tells him that questions will be raised, but he has been defending himself really well. Sreesanth apologises to Vikas for insulting him the last time he came to the house.
Next to come on the hot seat is the most talked about contestant of the season, Sreesanth. He is questioned by Vikas Gupta about his anger issues and celebrity status which he always displays during arguments. He is also asked that why he should win the show and others shouldn’t. With utmost conviction, Sreesanth defines his every act and apologizes for the mistakes which he had made. But he later breaks down and locks himself in the washroom.
Vikas Gupta, Jay Bhanushaali and Sweta Singh enter the house to moderate a debate between the remaining contestants of Bigg Boss 12. First, Sweta asks Deepak to sit on the hot seat. He is questioned by Jai about how there are allegations that he is not a village bred person and that he has played the small town boy card only to his advantage. Romil jumps into the discussion and states there were certain points where even he thought that Deepak was lying about his background. However, Vikas Gupta defends Deepak and is assertive that his journey was rather inspirational in the show.
After a surprise mid-week eviction of Surbhi Rana, Bigg Boss 12 finally got its top 5 finalists as Sreesanth, Dipika Kakar, Karanvir Bohra, Deepak Thakur and Romil Chaudhary. Bigg Boss gave all of them a chance to clear the air of allegations which viewers have against them. For the same a debate was organised in the Bigg Boss house where Sweta Singh from Aaj Tak was the moderator and Vikas Gupta and Jai Bhanushali were the affirmative or negative based on the contestant of their choice.
