Zaira Wasim won millions of hearts with her performance in her debut film, Dangal that released in 2016. She then got a breakthrough in the musical drama Secret Superstar, in which she shared screen space with superstar Aamir Khan for the second time. She won numerous accolades for her impeccable performance in both the films. The young star then signed a film with Priyanka Chopra Jonas-Farhan Akhtar starrer, The Sky Is Pink, the shooting of which completed in March 2019. And then in June Zaira announced that she is quitting Bollywood. Well, this came as a shock to not just the fraternity of Hindi cinema but all fans of this young starlet. On June 30, Zaira Wasim took to her social media handles and put up a post stating that she is quitting Bollywood due to religious reasons. There were few who came in support of Zaira whilst many others were upset with her decision. Now it wouldn’t less than be any shock if she gives a nod for Salman Khan’s show after all such drama. A source has revealed to International Business Times, India that Zaira would probably be following television actress Shilpa Shinde’s footsteps. The source was quoted saying, “Remember Shilpa Shinde, who left acting after her show Bhabhiji got into controversy, had entered the house of Bigg Boss that she eventually won, and also got a great fan following after the show. Now similarly, Zaira Wasim has been approached for the show and she seemed to be interested to spend time in the controversial house.” However, neither Zaira Wasim nor the makers of Bigg Boss 13 have confirmed anything yet. Talking about her upcoming film The Sky Is Pink, she would not be a part of the promotional activities. The film is set to release on October 11.
