Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh is in a lot of demand these days. If all goes well, the 24-year-old hottie would be seen as a part of Bigg Boss 12 hosted by Salman Khan! So, how much is the truth in these rumours? Well, the speculations are taking place thanks to Akshara Singh’s reply to a fan during Instagram’s ‘Ask me a question’ session. One of the most successful names in Bhojpuri cinema, the 24-year-old Mumbai girl enjoys a lot of fan following on the photo-sharing app. And her little hint on being one of Bigg Boss 12 contestants, the fans of ‘Melody Queen of Bhojpuri Cinema’ are quite elated. If things do materialise, Akshara Singh would join the likes of Antara Biswas aka Monalisa (Bigg Boss 10), Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirahua (Bigg Boss 6), Manoj Tiwari (Bigg Boss 4) and Ravi Kishan (Bigg Boss 1) from previous seasons.

Bigg Boss is one of the longest-running reality TV shows in India where a number of individuals are locked inside a camera-laced house for three months. Their stay inside the house is monitored, and the last person standing walks away with the prize money and title. He kept the house alive with his singing and fighting with Dolly Bindra over eating an egg! We also saw him be over-friendly with TV actress and eventual winner, Shweta Tiwari. Despite boasting of extensive fan-following, Manoj could not make to the top three, something he blamed on the show and Salman Khan! He called his ouster from Bigg Boss house to be scripted. Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirahua in Bigg Boss 6

Two years later in Bigg Boss 6 held in 2012, the show welcomed another successful Bhojpuri actor – Dinesh Lal Yadav aka Nirahua. However, his stay was rather short and forgettable barring his ugly fights with Imam Siddique, fellow contestant. After being shown the door, Niraua was quoted saying, “I’m really thankful to Bigg Boss and the aam janta that I was evicted from the house at this juncture. I’m saying it in all honesty that had I stayed there for some more time, I would have killed Imam!”

Antara Biswas aka Monalisa in Bigg Boss 10

Coming to final Bhojpuri contestant on the Bigg Boss show, it is Antara Biswas, whom we all know better as Monalisa. In 2016, she participated in Bigg Boss 10, and it made her a household name in the country. She also got married to her boyfriend Vikrant Singh Rajpoot inside the house. Despite not winning the winner’s trophy, Monalisa in true meaning won the hearts of hundreds of thousands of fans who continue to remain devoted to her. Bigg Boss definitely did wonders to Monalisa’s life.
