Television actor Sandeep Anand, who is popular for comic shows like FIR, May I Come In Madam and Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain to name a few,  has decided to end his seven-year-old marriage. Reportedly, the actor has filed for divorce and it's been around a year now that Sandeep and his wife and his wife have been living separate. However, the couple has a son, who is currently living with his mother. Confirming the news, Sandeep told Times of India, "Yes, it's true. We were together for seven years and things did not work out between us. There were compatibility issues. I have filed for divorce. I don't want to discuss more about my personal life as I want to be known for my work. I don't want to grab headlines for my break-up."

Sandeep, who got married under his parents' pressure, has cited compatibility issues for the divorce. Talking about it, in a statement to Bollywood Life, the actor said, "I got married, only for their(parents) happiness. I got married to a girl who I was not in love with. Soon I realised we both were different. She is from a small town, while I'm in Mumbai. Different culture and different society! But I had some responsibility, so I tried making things better. And I gave seven years of my life to my marriage. I tried hard to work on it, but it didn't work out and things fell apart," further adding, "We have filed for divorce. It's been almost a year since we got separated. I have moved on from my life, and even she has moved on."

Recently, there have been rumours that the television actress Shubhangi Atre's 12-year marriage with Peeyush Poorey has run into a bit of rough weather. According to reports, the actress' marriage is in trouble as her in-laws are not very comfortable with the idea of she pursuing her acting career. However, the actress, who is currently seen as Angoori Bhabhi in the popular show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, dismissed the reports and confirmed that these rumours are baseless and hold no truth. Talking about it, in a statement to Times of India, Shubhangi said, "I am surprised to learn of something that is happening in my life and is known to all except me, myself."

The actress further told the daily, "These all are baseless rumours. Nothing of this is true and I am very much happy with my husband. My hubby and I did talk to each other when we learnt about the rumours and were amused and taken aback equally. I don't know from where has this unnecessarily come from."
