Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai Actress Saumya Tandon Shares First Picture of Baby Boy

On Friday, we had reported that TV actress Saumya Tandon, who is known for playing the lead role of Anita Mishra in the comedy series Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai, welcomed a baby boy on January 14. Well, both mother and the child are fine. For the uninitiated, the actress got married to a banker Saurabh Devendra Singh in December 2016 after dating him for almost 10 years and this is their first baby. Yes, you read that right! After treating her fans with the announcement of her pregnancy on November 14, last year, and beautiful pictures of her baby bump from the photoshoot, Saumya now took to the photo-sharing app to share the first family picture with her newborn baby and husband and captioned the post as, "Our bundle of joy!"

Earlier the news of Saumya Tandon quitting the popular comedy Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai have been doing the rounds. However, the actress, in an interview with Bombay Times, had said that her new role as a mother won't mean that she will give up acting, dismissing reports to the contrary. She further told the publication, "I’ve been asked this question many times; there is nothing stopping me from doing what I love. I will continue to act. My baby will be my strength and I have full faith that I will do better."

The actress Saumya Tandon became a household name with her stint as Anita Vibhuti Narayan in &TV’s Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. Saumya has previously been a part if shows like Aisa Des Hai Mera, Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni and done a special appearance in Comedy Nights With Kapil. She has also hosted shows like Mallika-E-Kitchen, Comedy Circus Ke Taansen, Entertainment Ki Raat and Dance India Dance.
