Kiran Srinivas, who was last seen in Star Plus' finite series Dehleez, recently made headlines for the sweet pictures of his engagement with Kannada film actress, Hitha Chandrashekar. Yes, you read that right! On Wednesday (May 1), Kiran Srinivas and Hitha Chandrashekar, who had been in a relationship for a long time before making it official, exchanged rings in an intimate ceremony in Bengaluru. Kiran, on the day of his engagement, took to the photo-sharing app to share a picture from the day and wrote, "C-day done ... D-day coming up... Thank you one and all for all the wishes 🙋🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️" Kiran and Hitha met while on a shoot where they fell for each other.

Kiran's fiancée too took to social media sites to share the good news. Posting a picture from their engagement day, the Kannada actress wrote, ".... and we’re engaged! :) Very grateful to our family and friends who have stood by us and made this milestone a super sweet one! Thank you all for your numerous wishes and love. We hope you keeping loving us and blessing us throughout our beautiful journey! #HitandRan #justfriends"

On the professional front, Kiran has featured in various popular shows like 24, Paanch, Zindagi Wins, Yeh Hai Aashiqui and was also seen in a cameo role in Jennifer Winget and Kushal Tandon starrer Sony TV show Beyhadh as Dr Jitendra Kumar Srivastava.

Kiran has also appeared in a couple of Bollywood films as he has appeared in movies like Haage Summane (2008), and Preethiyinda Ramesh (2010), amongst others.

Meanwhile, Hitha, who is the eldest daughter of the well known Kannada television actor and Director Sihi Kahi Chandrashekar and Sihi Kahi Geetha, is known for her roles in Kannada films like Kaal Kg Preethi (2017), Onthara Bannagalu (2018) and Thurthu Nirgamana (2018), amongst others.
