And Sony TV’s next Beyhadh 2’s cast is complete now. While leading lady Jennifer Winget will be seen playing the psycho sociopath Maya again, this time around, the show will see two male leads, unlike the first season of Beyhadh, where two women fought for attention from the male protagonist. And from amongst many suitable names, actor Shiving Narang grabbed the first spot of the male lead. And joining him will be actor Ashish Chowdhry. Now that the cast is complete, it is being said that shooting for the same will begin soon. Jennifer Winget To Play A Dancer In Beyhadh 2, Plans To Trap Her Prey in Her 'Maya'Jaal! (View Pic)
Confirming the same to Bombay Times, Ashish, who will be seen playing a father in the show, says, “I have no qualms about ageing on screen. I will play a cupboard if it is challenging enough. Many actors have played fathers to co-stars their age, and been appreciated for it. On TV, I have the liberty to be selective, which isn’t the case with films. I was stuck in the comic zone and felt stagnated, but I can explore various shades on the small screen.”

The actor, who rose to fame in the television space with his stint as detective Dev Burman in Colors show Dev, says that all he wants is to do creative work and deliver fulfilling performances, that will satisfy him.
Quiz him if he is fine with the show being all about Maya (Winget’s character), the actor replies, “I agree that it is completely Jenny’s (Jennifer) show, However, that’s not the approach I want to have towards my career — that I will play only titular characters and should be the solo lead; the role should be creatively satisfying, that’s all. Truly fulfilling performances are the ones that come with stepping out of comfort zones and doing something out of the box, which I am doing with this show. I don’t want to repeat myself, as it tends to get boring.”
Well, here’s to one actor whose basis of choosing roles is for creative satisfaction and who aims to deliver some content-filled performances. Ashish was last seen on the big screen in the sequel to his hit film Dhamaal, titled Total Dhamaal. On the television space, Ashish was last seen in Dev.
