Today's episode of Bepannah starts with Aditya(Harshad Chopda) and Zoya(Jennifer Winget) spending their night in the jail as the family too spends a sleepless night with prayers for their children. Next morning Aditya meets Harsh once again, and Harsh tells Aditya that he has made his choice. Harsh says that he would listen to Aditya and free Zoya too but in return, Aditya will have to promise that he would never question Harsh about his methods of doing this.

Aditya promises that he would never question him if he saves Zoya too. Harsh starts the proceeding by presenting his side of the case and tells the court that Aditya and Zoya never had any motive for the murder, so there is no point for a murder. Harsh calls for his first witness who is the owner of the shop from where Zoya and Aditya had purchased the gift. Charlie, the shop owner, confirms that Aditya and Zoya were, in fact, fighting over one gramophone which Zoya wanted for Yash and Aditya wanted for someone special.

Harsh goes on to prove that Aditya made an emergency landing purely so the passenger can get medical attention. The interns at Zosh confirm that Zoya and Aditya never wanted the marriage drama and not only that they never even knew each other. The notary who made the divorce papers for Yash and Pooja is called in, and he confirms that Yash wanted the divorce but Pooja never signed the papers as probably she changed her mind.

Harsh proves that there is no proof leading them to believe that Pooja and Yash indeed had an affair. He then goes on to call Yash's friend whom Zoya had approached. He confirms that Pooja had invested in the business, but that does not mean Yash and Pooja loved each other. Now Harsh states that Yash was a bad husband and also a lousy businessman. He took many wrong decisions, and he had a considerable list of loans that he had taken, Pooja being just one of them.

He says that Yash had his eyes on Zoya's money when he got married to her but as the marriage happened without Zoya's father's consent, Yash could get hold of nothing. He then went on to use Pooja for the same purpose. Harsh calls upon a psychiatrist and proves that Yash was under treatment for clinical depression and when Pooja demanded her money back this triggered him to commit suicide, and by chance, Pooja was in the car with him.

So this means Pooja was actually murdered by Yash. Zoya is left dazed by this sudden flood of information thrown at her. The court releases Zoya and Aditya as Zoya turns to look at Yash's mother.
