It's that time of the week, when the audience wait for the popularity chart (which comes in the form of TRP report given out by BARC every week) to see how have their favourite shows have performed in the previous week. As fans eagerly wait to find out the Top 10 TV Shows list, here's the BARC TRP Report of week 6, 2019 is finally out, which gives an insight about which show rocked while which show failed. This week doesn't see major shuffling in the positioning of Indian TV shows except Colors' Shani has entered into the top five. Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, the stunt-based reality show has been doing wonders from the day it began, has topped the list, where as Remo D'Souza's 'Dance Plus ended on a good note. KHATRON KE KHILADI 9: Rohit Shetty's stunt based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 has grabbed the top spot in the charts with 3.5 ratings. Looks like people are loving the thrills on Khatron Ke Khiladi Jigar Pe Trigger. Also, the starry line-up of contestants has kept people engrossed.
NAAGIN 3: Ekta Kapoor's supernatural show Naagin 3 retained its second position with 3.2 ratings. Initially, Surbhi Jyoti and Pearl V Puri starrer Naagin 3 has been ruling the rating chart ever since its premiere. However, now the show is clearly being dominated by reality shows and non-fiction programming content.
THE KAPIL SHARMA SHOW: Comedy King Kapil Sharma's comeback show The Kapil Sharma Show receives a thunderous response from netizens since its inception in December 2018. The popular television comedy talk show, after witnessing a drop two weeks ago, has maintained its 3rd position this week as well with 2.8 ratings. SUPER DANCER 3: Super Dancer 3, judged by Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Geeta Kapoor and Anurag Basu, is back in the top five shows on BARC’s list of most watched shows in the country. The dance reality show, which got slipped to 6th position last week, grabbed the 4th spot with 2.5 ratings.
TUJHSE HAI RAABTA: Though ZEE TV's hit show Tujhse Hai Raabta has slipped from the 4th position to the 5th position with 2.4 ratings, it still manages to be one of the top five shows on BARC’s list of most watched shows in the country. Looks like the latest twists and turns in the plot have made people take notice of the show. Besides twists, it's also the banter and the romance between the lead pair, Malhar (Sehban Azim) and Kalyani (Reem Shaikh), that makes it an entertaining watch.
YEH RISHTA KYA KEHLATA HAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, which stars Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan in the lead roles, re-entered the top 10 list this week, grabbing the 6th position with 2.3 ratings.
KUNDALI BHAGYA: Kundali Bhagya, which is a spin-off of Kumkum Bhagya, which was one of the top five shows on BARC’s (Broadcast Audience Research Council India) list of most watched shows in the country, has slipped to the 7th position this week and has grabbed 2.3 ratings.
TAARAK MEHTA KA OOLTAH CHASHMAH: SAB TV's long-running show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, which is one of the popular television shows, has slipped from the 7th position to the 8th position this week.
DANCE PLUS 4: Remo Dsouza judged Dance Plus 4 entered the top 10 list in the grand-finale week. The grand finale (fourth season) of the popular dance reality show bagged 9th position with 2.2 ratings.
KUMKUM BHAGYA: Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya, which stars Shabir Ahluwali and Srithi Jha in the lead roles, had grabbed 9th position last week and has now slipped to the 10th position with 2.1 ratings.
