It’s that time of the week when we check the TRP charts that show the position of your favourite shows. TV fans always wait for BARC report as to find out if their favourite TV shows have made it to the Top 10 TV Shows list. As, we have now come to the 40th week of 2018 and the BARC report is here to validate whether the show is a hit or flop, let’s take a look at which shows have been doing really well and which aren’t. According to BARC India’s Week 40 Top 10 Shows list, the third season of ‘Naagin’ on Colors maintained its lead overall with 14.4 million impressions (Both Urban + Rural).
However, Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati beats Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata in the race as it takes the third position this week. While Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 failed to impress its viewers and slipped to the 16th spot this week, the newly launched show, RadhaKrushna seems to have impressed the audience right from the first week, taking the 6th position. While the new shows have taken their place, Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Bepannaah, Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga has gone missing from the top 10 list. Top 10 shows (Urban)
While Naagin 3 continues to rule BARC's Top 10 shows with 9.9 million impressions, Kundali Bhagya and Kaun Banega Crorepati 10 has taken the second and third spot on the charts with 7.9 million and 7.3 million impressions respectively. The longest running daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is still a part of the best five with 7.3 million impressions while Kullfi Kumar Bajewala saw a dip this week as it takes the fifth position with 6.9 million impressions. The other five shows that made it to the Top 10 list are RadhaKrushna, Indian Idol, Kumkum Bhagya, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and Ishq Subhan Allah with 6.4, 6.3, 6.2, 5.9 and 5.7 million impressions respectively.
Top 10 shows (Urban + Rural)
Naagin 3 continues to take the first spot with 14.4 million impressions. While Zee TV's Kundali Bhagya grabs the second spot with 13.2 MI, newly launched Radhakrushna takes the third position with 13 MI. Zee Anmol's Kumkum Bhagya slides down to the fourth position with 12.8 MI, while Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya takes the fifth position with 10.5 MI. The other five shows that failed to enter the top 5 but made it to the Top 10 list are Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai (with 10.3 million impressions), Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala (with 10 MI), Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (with 9.9 MI), Rabba Ve bags the ninth spot (with 9.9 MI) and Big B's Kaun Banega Crorepati (with 9 million impressions).
Top 10 channels
