With another Sunday upon us, we bring you the TRP report, given out by Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) who evaluates how your favourite shows are faring every week. It will give you an insight into what the audience thinks of the shows currently running on the tube. It helps you know which shows have topped the charts and which ones have failed to impress the fans or even worse, slipped from their top spots. In week 39 (Saturday, September 21, 2019, to Friday, September 27, 2019), we see that Kundali Bhagya and its original show Kumkum Bhagya and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai have once again retained its first, second and third spots respectively. The other two positions have been taken by Dangal's Bandini and Colors' Choti Sardarni. Here's a look at the list to find out if your favourite shows have made it to the top five list. Kundali Bhagya
Kundali Bhagya has been topping the charts for the past several weeks. This week too, Kundali Bhagya (a spin-off of Kumkum Bhagya) has managed to retain its top position on the BARC charts.
Dheeraj Dhoopar and Shraddha Arya starrer Kundali Bhagya garnered 14415 million impressions in week 3. Interestingly, the story of two middle-class sisters and two upper-class brothers have been wowing the audience from day one.
Kumkum Bhagya
Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia's popular fictional show Kumkum Bhagya retained it spot this week.
Grabbing the second position, Kumkum Bhagya garnered 13278 million impressions. Looks like, Kumkum Bhagya's interesting twists have kept the viewers completely hooked and the testimony of the same is its TRP ratings.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai too retained its spot. Grabbing the third position on the BARC charts, the show has garnered 12002 million impressions.
Despite being one of the oldest shows running on Star Plus, the show has managed to draw its viewers' attention and keep them completely hooked to their television screens with various twists and turns. Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently completed 3000 episodes and the team celebrated the milestone in a house party.
Bandini
Bandini, that first premiered in 2009 on NDTV Imagine and went on for almost six years, stars Ronit Roy and Aasiya Kazi in the lead roles. Bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor, the show was set up in a village in Gujarat. Ronit Roy's Bandini went off air in January 2011. However, for those who wanted to get experience of Imagine TV, Dangal TV telecasts some of the popular shows of the channel and one them is Bandini.
Bandini has entered top five shows on BARC’s list of most-watched shows in India. Grabbing the fourth position, Bandini has garnered 11265 million impressions. Looks like the show still manages to gain a lot of good reviews. Thanks to Dangal TV as it made this show available once again for its fans and ardent viewers.
Choti Sardarni
Colors' newly launched soap opera Choti Sardarni has finally entered the list of top five shows in TRP charts. It is a new entry on the chart at the fifth spot with 10523 ratings.
Choti Sardarni is seeing a lot of twists and turns in the current storyline. The ongoing episodes revolve around Meher (Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia) and Sarabjit's marriage. The show brings a story of Meher, who will be fighting for the rights and safety of her child. The story set in a small village that brings the struggles of Meher.
