We saw her grow as a brave, little girl to a fearsome assassin over the course of seven seasons in Game of Thrones. Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams, is considered as one of the best characters in GoT thanks to how her arc has grown over the show. In the process, the viewers also ignored that Arya has also grown up to be a woman who loves to be in touch with her sexuality. Her flirting with Gendry in the first episode of Game of Thrones season 8 has left many shocked. We felt that in her drive to seek vendetta and becoming a faceless assassin, Arya may be beyond such mundane things as sex. If the flirting in the first episode was a hint at that, Arya went ahead and shocked the viewers by having sex with the man of her affections, Gendry. The scene happened when Gendry stumbles upon her practising archery, before the Night King and the army arrives.

As they talk, Arya asks Gendry why Melisandre took him away in season 3. Gendry reveals that Melisandre told him that he is the bastard of Robert Baratheon, a piece of information that both shocks and intrigues Arya. He later describes how she made him strip naked and put leeches on his body.

Arya uses this opportunity to ask Gendry if Melisandre was the first woman that he slept with. Gendry is reluctant to answer that, so Arya asks him how many women he has been with. After much hesitation, he replies 'three'.

Then Arya tells him that she doesn't want to die (facing the Night King) without understanding the feeling (of sex) and goes on to kiss him. Then they proceed to have sex.

In between, Arya didn't lose the opportunity to show that she is still a badass, when she reminds a shocked Gendry that she is no Melisandre. While it is still awkward to watch Arya's moment of sexual awakening, she is all of 18 years old in the show, so there is nothing illegal going on there. But we are pretty sure that this is one scene you won't forget anytime soon. Bronn and his foursome has become a distant memory now.

It is also interesting to note that it was the revelation that Gendry is half-Baratheon that piqued Arya's interest all of a sudden. Which is strange, since it was her sister Sansa, who was more interested in marrying a Baratheon. So what's up with that?
