Navjot Singh Sidhu's recent comments after the Pulwama terror attack were tagged as insensitive by Twitterati. The attack that claimed the lives of 40 CRPF Jawans will go down in history as a bitter memory and there's no way Sidhu's comments will be every forgiven. He opined that we can't blame an entire nation (Pakistan) for the misdeeds of select few individuals. While he refuses to move his stand and will stick to his opinion, the viewers of The Kapil Sharma show are in no mood to calm down. We read reports of how Archana Puran Singh is in talks to replace him on TKSS but no official confirmation about the same is out yet. Though she'll appear in the next two episodes on the comedy show, she insists the shooting was wrapped even before the attacks in Kashmir. Since Sidhu was then busy with his political commitments, she stepped into his shoes but she isn't his replacement. However, in her recent interaction with Bombay Times, Archana expressed a desire and hinted that she'll come on board if the makers want her to.

Speaking about the same she said, “Kapil and I go back a long way; I have known him since the time when he was a participant on Comedy Circus. Kapil and his entire team and the channel are family for me. So, when your family needs you, you can’t say no to them. Going further she also revealed how important it is to not hurt people's sentiments. "Clearly, the online media has become so big today that one has to be very careful before commenting or expressing their opinion on any issue today. It is important that people’s sentiments are not hurt. Whatever you wish to express should be expressed in a responsible manner. I don’t know if I am replacing Sidhu permanently." Well, chances are pretty rife that she'll come on board and an announcement for the same will be made in the next couple of days.
