Anushka Sen Grabs Rahat Kazmi's Hina Khan Starrer Indo-Hollywood Film Country Of Blind!
Based on a book by HG Wells, titled The Country Of The Blind, the film with the same name, focuses on the story of its inhabitants whose newborns are all born blind, but they take it in their stride and not let their illness pull them down.
Hina Khan's Indo-Hollywood project, acclaimed filmmaker Rahat Kazmi's Country of Blind, will see yet another well-known TV actress join the cast. Actress Anushka Sen, who recently wrapped up her Colors show Jhansi Ki Rani, has been roped in for the movie. She too, like Hina Khan's character, will play a visually challenged woman in the film. Based on H.G.Wells' 'The Country of Blind', the book is about a village that is cut off from the rest of the world, where all the newborns in the village are struck with a disease of being bling by birth and how this helps to strengthen their remaining senses. Anushka took to social media to announce her inclusion in a film and also mentioned how she was excited to be working with Rahat Kazmi who is her favourite director.

Country of Blind will be Anushka's second film with the director, as she has done her first film with him too titled Lihaf, which was announced at the Cannes film festival last year. Hina Khan will be essaying the female lead in the film and opposite her will be seen actor Shoib Nikash Shah. Also, Airlift fame actor Inaamul Haq has been roped in as the main antagonist. It is also being said that the film will be shot both in Hindi and English simultaneously.
