ALTBalaji’s Class of 2019: Vikas Gupta Confirms Rohan Mehra and Chetna Pande To Star As The Leads!

Remember ALTBalaji’s Class of 2017? Yes, the same show that unabashedly showcased the life of teenagers indulging in drugs, sex, alcohol and much more? Well, the show is all set to return with a second instalment. The first instalment saw actors Anshuman Malhotra, Krissan Baretto, Rohit Suchanti, Adish Khanna, Rohan Shah and Ashish Chanchlani, among others, is all set to return to the digital platform with a second season. Confirming the same to Mid-day, Vikas Gupta told them, “Ekta Kapoor convinced me to come up with a new season. Class of 2019 was commissioned a year ago.”

While the show will mark Rohan Mehra’s digital debut, Chetna has been a part of ALT’s acclaimed show Home: It’s A Feeling. On bagging the project, Rohan told the daily, “I beat almost 300 actors after a series of auditions and look tests (for the role).”

Well, while the first season received mixed reactions, its attempt of presenting the audience with the harsh reality of the life of a teenager who goes through peer pressure, anxiety, the influence of wrong company and much more, was appreciated by the audience.
