A few days back, speculation that Krystle Dsouza had bagged the leading lady's role had come up after Ekta Kapoor in one of her cryptic tweets, hinted at the same. And now, as per a report in India Forums, Karan Kundrra has bagged the role of the male lead on the show. However, while Karan is yet to confirm his presence on the show, Ekta sure did. It was recently reported that more than three hundred girls have auditioned for the role and that the makers are yet to lock in their final face. It Happened in Calcutta's story is set in the year 1960s in the ‘City of Joy- Calcutta’, and promises to be a tale that’s sure going to keep you hooked to your screens.
