Looks like Alok Nath and his decision to not pay heed to certain summons has landed him in a soup, first with the police and now with the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, for the committee has issued the actor with a six-month non-cooperative directive, for disobeying summons to appear before the Internal Complaints Committee of the Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA). ‘Vinta Nanda May Have Filed A Delayed F.I.R. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit who is the president of IFTDA, was quoted by Bombay Times as saying, “Alok blatantly challenged the ICC and defied the summons to attend the meetings. In effect, he has refused to cooperate with the mandate of the IFTDA to provide a secure workplace for women. Back in 2018, Vinta Nanda was one of the first names to have opened up on her ordeal during the #MeToo movement, Vinta, in a lengthy Facebook post wrote about how Alok Nath raped her and ended her career.
