Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit who is the president of IFTDA, was quoted by Bombay Times as saying, “Alok blatantly challenged the ICC and defied the summons to attend the meetings. In effect, he has refused to cooperate with the mandate of the IFTDA to provide a secure workplace for women. Back in 2018, Vinta Nanda was one of the first names to have opened up on her ordeal during the #MeToo movement, Vinta, in a lengthy Facebook post wrote about how Alok Nath raped her and ended her career.
