After Tanvi Dogra, Now Ayub Khan, Tina Phillip and Purva Parag Quit the Show, Find Out Why
The makers have asked the actors to exit the show immediately without any prior notice and also shot for a new promo with Shrenu Parikh and Zain Imam.
Shrenu Parikh and Zain Imam's thriller series Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna fails to create the same magic on the TRP chart as other Saas-Bahu shows did on Star Plus. The show, which premiered on April 22, 2019, is only three months old but is already in trouble. Yes, you read that right! Due to low TRPs, Sarvagun Sampanna is all set for a revamp. Looks like the makers, before pulling the plug on Sarvagun Sampanna, are giving it a last try as to improve the ratings on BARC charts. In order to do that, the makers have decided to get rid of a few characters and focus more on the lead pair - Shrenu and Zain. ‘Shrenu Parikh Is A Sarvagun Sampanna Actress In The True Sense’- Ishaan Singh Manhas
Recently, it was reported that Tanvi Dogra, who played the role of Kavya Mittal, decided to walk out of the show as she was unhappy with her character sketch. Now the latest reports suggest that Ayub Khan, Tina Phillip and Purva Parag will no longer be a part of the show as the new storyline does not require these characters. According to a report in SpotboyE, all these changes were made overnight and the actors too were asked to exit the show immediately without any prior notice. Not only that, but the makers also shot for a new promo (introducing the revamped version) yesterday with the lead actors Shrenu and Zain.
Talking about Tanvi Dogra's exit from the show, the actress, in a statement Times of India, said that she hasn't quit the show and her character could be brought back in future. The actress said, "I have not quit. It's a decision taken by the channel and makers, owing to low ratings. Obviously, I am heartbroken with the abrupt ending of my character, but they have done it in such a way that I could be brought back in the future."
"I guess the thriller angle couldn't strike a chord with the audience, and hence, the plan to revamp. The show will soon focus on Shrenu and Zain's love story," she added. Well, not just the actor but producer Deepti Kalwani too confirmed it as she said in a statement earlier that the actors aren't quitting the show but will soon be brought back. Stay tuned!
