Netflix's Sacred Games, featuring Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, among others, ended on a cliffhanger and the second season is being highly awaited by fans. While fans eagerly wait for Season 2, which is slated to release on Netflix in mid-2019 as reports suggest, let me tell you the second installment t of the series, which is co-directed by Anurag Kashyap and Masaan (2015) fame director Neeraj Ghaywan, will see a mix of old favourites and fresh new characters to drive the storyline to its intrepid twists and turns. Yes, you read that right. According to latest reports, we hear that actress Kalki Koechlin, whose film 'Candyflip' was released on Netflix earlier this year and was recently seen in Amazon Prime's Made in Heaven will reportedly join the cast of Netflix's popular series "Sacred Games" Season 2. The second season, which will return this year with a new trail of betrayal, crime, passion and a thrilling chase through Mumbai's underbelly, will pick up from Sartaj Singh (actor Saif Ali Khan) pursuing his relentless battle of saving the city and Ganesh Gaitonde (actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui) facing bigger challenges to retain his position as the legendary kingpin of Mumbai. Also, the intriguing Guruji (actor Pankaj Tripathi), who was introduced in season one as Gaitonde’s ‘third father’, will be seen playing a pivotal role in unfolding a chain of events that shape the next season.

While we talk about new entries, let's not forget to mention that Radhika Apte, who played the role of a RAW agent and Kubbra Sait, who won hearts and did absolute justice to her character of a transgender, will be missed terribly. Speaking of new faces, last December, Mirzapur actress Harshita Gaur had confirmed that she has bagged a pivotal role in Sacred Games season two. Also actor Jatin Sarna, who made a big impact with a small role as Nawazuddin's volatile hitman Bunty in Sacred Games, will also be back in Season 2 of the Netflix series, although his character was killed in the first season. Sacred Games Star Jatin Sarna Bags a Role In Ranveer Singh Starrer ’83

Talking about it, Jatin had earlier said in a statement, "The second season goes into a flashback. My character Bunty is on a wheelchair. So I need to harness and control my natural energy level to play a subdued physically limited character." So, how excited are you to watch the second installment of Sacred Games.
