The return of Ekta Kapoor's cult show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, which starred Cezanne Khan and Shweta Tiwari, has taken the Television world and the Internet by storm ever since the first promo of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, which stars Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan, has surfaced. On Tuesday (September 25), the reboot version was premiered on Star Plus and fans couldn't seem to contain their excitement. Also, watching the premiere episode, we couldn't be more happy with Ekta's choice to have Parth and Erica play the iconic roles of Prerna and Anurag Basu in the reboot version of KZK 2.

While speaking of reboots, TV revivals have become common in this golden age of television. Many shows are being revived (even if they concluded years ago). Everything that was old is new again and honestly, there’s absolutely no shame in nostalgia. I think it’s exciting to see some of your favourite shows getting a second wave of attention, isn't it? And this is precisely why, I think these five classic TV shows of Ekta Kapoor deserve a reboot right now, no questions asked. Period.

Kahiin to Hoga

Star Plus' Kahiin To Hoga is not only one of the most romantic-drama series but also one of the most popular TV soap operas of that time. It achieved the milestone of getting TVR of 10.77 during its run. Fans still remember the show for two reasons which are Telly beauty Aamna Shariff and hottie Rajeev Khandelwal. Who can forget these two pretty faces. The show was a romantic drama that revolved around Sujal (played by Rajeev) and Kashish (played by Aamna). Fans loved their on-screen chemistry so much so that they wished to see them together some day in real life. While fans crave for their comeback, they also demand a reboot of Kahiin To Hoga.

Kutumb

Kutumb was one of the popular daily dramas, which aired on on Sony Entertainment Television. It narrated the hate cum love story of Pratham (played by Hiten and Gauri (played by his real-life wife Gauri Pradhan). The hit show of 2001 had two seasons; While the plots were not interrelated but both series revolve around the principal characters of Pratham, Gauri, their love and Kutumb (family).

Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai

Remember Iqbal Khan, who played the role of a popular playboy rockstar Angad Khanna in this 2005 hit show? I am sure, most of you had a crush on this hottie back then. Well, he is still as hot as he was except he now dons a salt-and-pepper look. Talking about the show, Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai starred Iqbal and Neha Bamb (as Kripa), who played the role of a small town girl from foothill of Himalayas. She comes to Mumbai with the dream of becoming a singer and that's how she bumps into Angad and falls in love. We definitely miss this passionate love story and yes, we do want a reboot, don't we?

Kkusum

Kkusum was an instant hit with the viewers when it first aired on television and its lead pair Nausheen Ali Sardar and Anuj Saxena were loved even more for their on screen chemistry. Although, it's been 13 years since the show went off-air, but honestly we still wish that if Ekta could consider to come up with a sequel. What do you  have to say about it?

Kasamh Se

Kasamh Se is one of the best dramas that are featured on Zee TV. The story focused on the lives of three very different but close sisters Bani, Pia and Rano. Kasamh Se, which aired on January 2006, definitely deserves a reboot as I am pretty sure that most of you miss the character Mr Walia. Also the on screen chemistry of Prachi Desai and Ram Kapoor is undeniable.

Which one of these shows are your favourite and you think should get a reboot. Now that Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is already here, which one do you prefer to see next? Let us know in the comment section below. Watch this space for further updates.
