Colors’ Internet Wala Love has made quite some noise ever since its inception for various reasons. For started it was actor Shivin Narang’s comeback show, then the makers roped in actress Minnisha Lamba thus making it her full-fledged small screen debut and soon followed the entry of actor Kanwar Dhillon into the show as the negative lead. Kanwar’s entry in the show was a much-awaited one for fans of the actor. Bigg Boss 12: Harshad Chopda, Surbhi Jyoti, Anita Hassanandani Enter The House And Here’s What Happens Next!

However, the journey has not been an eventful one for Kunwar and he has quit Internet Wala Love. In his own admission, Kanwar while talking to Bombay Times, expressed his unhappiness over the lack of professionalism from the makers’ part, with regards to his character.

Said Kanwar, “When I was offered the show, I was promised that it would be a proper negative lead, which would be promoted well, but that never happened. In fact, I was left out from all the major marketing and promotional activities of the show. I had chosen this project over many others, as it looked different.”

“Even though my track did start on a positive note, later, my role started lacking meat and people thought that I wasn’t doing anything. As an actor, creative satisfaction matters the most and visibility is also important. What is the use of being part of a show when people don’t even connect you with it? I really felt underutilised, and the dates that I had allotted them were wasted,” the actor revealed.

Kanwar also told the daily that he had let go other projects because this show (Internet Wala Love) had seemed to be different to what he had done previously. And when the makers apparently asked him to take a break and told him that they were going to re-write his track, the actor decided to walk out of the project.

But Kanwar also revealed that he has parted ways amicably with the production house. “I am disappointed and feel that things should have been handled in a more professional way. Having said that, I enjoyed working with the team and the production house, and they have respected my decision to quit,” said Kanwar.

The actor isn’t the first in the industry to have quit his show over creative differences. Many such cases have happened, but while some have been amicable separations, others have been bitter heartbreaks. But what can anybody even say, for creative satisfaction is a necessity for an actor, isn’t it?
