While perfectionist Aamir Khan must be ending 2018 on a dull note because of his latest offering Thugs of Hindostan not doing as well as it was expected to, the actor sure seems to be looking at a better 2018. Talk of the town suggests that Aamir will be back with the next season of his much loved chat show Satyamev Jayate on Star Plus. The show won many accolades for touching hard hitting topics and creating awareness around them. It was also said that with the #MeToo wave riding the entertainment industry this year, this would be one of Aamir's first topics to be discussed in the show. However, even before Satyamev Jayate hits the tube, Aamir Khan has another offering for television. This afternoon, the actor announced his next venture titled Rubari Roshni, in collaboration with wife Kiran Rao. This short venture will be airing on Star Plus and here's Aamir's announcement.
Hey guys, our next film from AKP is premiering on @StarPlus, on 26th Jan at 11am. It's something that Kiran and I have produced, and which we are very close to. #RubaruRoshni. Directed by @content_rules
Don't miss it.
Love.

In other news, while Aamir's Dangal performed spectacularly in the Chinese market, Thugs of Hindostan did not have the same luck. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Thugs of Hindostan has only managed to collect Rs 32.93 crore in China in its opening weekend.
