When he adopted an abandoned Zanjeer

Zanjeer was an abandoned dog that Kapil found and decided to adopt. He won our respect when he took Zanjo (as he was called lovingly) under his wings and took care of him. Zanjeer became a very important part of Kapil's life. Kapil's act is also something that all of us need to do, adopt animals and not buy them.

His association with Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan

Like a lot of other celebrities, Kapil also did his bit in promoting Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan but considering the massive fandom that Kapil had, it was a big deal. President Pranab Mukherjee had also invited him to the Rashtrapati Bhavan in September 2015 to acknowledge his contribution for the movement.
