Netflix's popular American teen drama 13 Reasons Why, that had proven to be one of the most controversial shows on television, has been renewed for a third season and will return with 13 new episodes in August 2019. Yes, you read that right! On August 1, the makers took to the micro-blogging site (Twitter) to drop the trailer for the new series of 13 Reasons Why and also announced that it will be available to watch on August 23. Excited much? While the first season featured a storyline based on suicide of Hannah Baker (Katherine Langford), the central plot of the upcoming season is 'Who killed Bryce Walker? (played by Justin Prentice)' Controversial ’13 Reasons Why’ Suicide Scene Deleted by Netflix after Two Years of Its Airing

For the uninitiated, the series, that was released in March 2017, centred on 17-year-old Hannah Baker, who leaves behind 13 cassette tapes with her friend Tony Padilla (Christian Navarro) before she takes her own life. The tapes, that explains her reasons to kill herself, is passed on to the 13 people, who according to her are responsible for her death. The last one to find the tapes is her school friend Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette), who listens to it as he struggles to come to terms with her sudden death. Well, the third season will revolve around Bryce Walker's (the man who raped Hannah and is responsible for her suicide) death.
