The third season of the fan-favourite and controversial TV show, 13 Reasons Why, made its debut on the internet. The new season presents a new mystery to the fan, "Who killed Bryce Walker?". The promos of the new season made it very clear that the boy, we all have been rightfully hating on since the first season, has been murdered. A SPOILER ALERT warning is officially in place. Bryce Walker raped Hannah Baker in the first season, which led to her suicide. It is later revealed that Hannah was not the only girl that fell prey to the evil guy. So, fans feel little remorse of his passing. But the one who killed Bryce Walker is...Alex Standal.

The character of Alex Standal is played by Miles Heizer. Alex was with Jessica, when they come across a bloodied and battered Bryce, who lost a fight with Zach. Alex and Jessica know that Bryce will freeze to death if they leave him there. Jessica is in favour of that. Alex has second thoughts. Alex decided to help Bryce and helps him get up. Alex denies they were ever friends, after Bryce implies that. Bryce is screaming in pain as he gets up and swears revenge on Zach. And right at that moment, he makes the mistake that cost him his life. He screams at Jessica and accuses her of setting this up. Alex realises that Bryce has no plans of changing and is still the jerk he always was. “You’ve hurt everyone I’ve ever loved,” said Alex, as he pushed Bryce off the pier into freezing cold water. Bryce dies after a struggle to stay above water.
