THIS American Actress Was The Inspiration For Amrita Puri's Look In Amazon Prime Series Four More Shots Please

After being seen in films such as Aisha and Kai Po Che, actress Amrita Puri was recently seen in Amazon Prime original series, Four More Shots Please directed by Anu Menon and produced by Rangita Pritish Nandy. Having received a positive response from the audience, there's a possibility that the series may be renewed for a second season. Amrita who played the character Kavya on the web series has been receiving great reviews too.

Amrita's look in the series has been a breath of fresh air. Previously, we had only seen her in a fairly traditional look but in Four More Shots Please, the actress looks completely different and is high on boho feels. Speaking about her new on-screen avatar, she said,  "The look of the character intrigued me because it is so out of my comfort zone. Usually, you see me as the cute, sweet, girl-next-door characters whereas this girl is dating an older man who has a child and she sports braids. Also, the reference for my character's look was Zoe Kravitz and that was exciting."

While Amrita did bowl us over with her cool look in the web series, we are expecting her to surprise us yet again in her upcoming web series, Made In Heaven. The Amazon Prime Original series has been co-written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. Made In Heaven revolves around big fat Indian weddings and their scandalous side.

Apart from Amrita Puri, the show has an ensemble cast of Shobhita Dhulipala, Anand Mathur, Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh and so on. Talking about her character in Made In Heaven, Amrita said, "I'm excited about the series not just for my role but in general it is going to be a great story. In Made In Heaven again, I'm playing a totally different character.  My character is from a Rajasthani family and I'm playing a Rajasthani bride."

In terms of Bollywood Amrita will be next seen in Mental Hai Kya starring Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles.  Directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, the film is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and is slated to release on March 29.
