Tanushree Dutta's allegations against Nana Patekar for misbehaviour and sexual harassment has sent the industry in a whole new sphere. And while many celebrities have chosen to have a diplomatic stand with respect to this row, some have openly shown their support towards the actress for her brave move. After Nana Patekar and Ganesh Acharaya, Tanushree Dutta Now Accuses Vivek Agnihotri of Forcing Her to Strip and Dance

After Farhan Akhtar tweeted his concern regarding the row and stated, "This thread is very telling. @janiceseq85 was there at the time of the incident being debated today. Even when #TanushreeDutta had career concerns to keep quiet 10 years ago she did not & her story hasn’t changed now. Her courage should be admired, not her intention questioned," Priyanka Chopra has joined the bandwagon of celebrities showing their support to the actress.

The actress quoted Farhan's tweet and said, "Agreed..the world needs to #BelieveSurviviors" This comes after some of the biggest celebrities in the industry offered a diplomatic stand against the controversy. Farhan and Priyanka have often advocated for women's rights. In fact, Akhtar also has an NGO called MARD that facilitates the same motto about bringing women to justice. Swara Bhaskar, Masaba Gupta, Mallika Dua and several other celebrities have stepped up in support of Tanushree. Check out all tweets.

Earlier this week, Tanushree alleged that veteran actor Nana Patekar misbehaved on the sets of Horn Ok Please and later got her sacked from filming an item number for the film. Tanushree claimed that Nana has often been known to behave horribly with women. However, despite the kind of behaviour he has towards women, big actors like Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar continue to work with the actor.

On the same, Patekar told Times Now, "People can say whatever they want to say, I will keep doing my work." He further added, "How would I know why she made the allegations. What can we do about someone else's statements? We were on the sets where there were 200 people. I will decide on taking a legal action against her. It would have been out in 2009 itself if such a thing had happened." We wonder how the film industry would react now and whether they would take sides.
