Before the Malayalam film Oru Adaar Love could hit the big screens, it became talk of the town, courtesy Priya Prakash Varrier. Many of them know her as the ‘wink girl’. For the unversed, a teaser from the song "Manikya Malaraya Poovi" from the film was released and in it the shot where the lead actress is seen ‘winking’ took the internet by storm. Priya became an overnight internet sensation and that video was going viral across social media platforms. It has been more than year since all of it happened, but you’d be surprised to know that Priya’s parents are still clueless about what made that video viral. In an interview to BT, Priya Prakash Varrier shared about how her family reacted seeing their daughter grabbing all the attention after release of a mini-clip from the song "Manikya Malaraya Poovi". About it she stated, “I remember my parents’ reaction very well. One question that both my mom and dad asked me was what’s in the video that it’s going viral. Earlier in an interview to NDTV, Priya Prakash Varrier had mentioned that the wink portion seen in the video was spontaneous. She was quoted as saying, “Actually, the director (Omar Lulu) wanted to capture something cute between me and my hero (Roshan Abdul Rahoof). So he told me if I can do the eyebrow thing and wink at him. I told him that I could give it a try. That’s how it worked out. It was spontaneous and we hadn’t planned anything.” On the work front, Priya is busy shooting for her second Bollywood flick – Love Hackers. The shooting of the film is going on in Lucknow.
