Yesterday (March 14), at the RRR press meet, Rajamouli announced the star cast details. He revealed Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Jr. NTR, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Ajay Devgn and Samuthirakani have been roped in for the magnum opus. Ram Charan will be seen portraying the role of Alluri Seetharamaraju. During an interaction with the media, SS Rajamouli was asked why Mahesh Babu wasn't considered to essay the character of Alluri Seetharamaraju. Rajamouli clarified that Mahesh Babu’s fans would love to see him playing characters relatable to James Bond instead of any historical character.
