The trailer of Vijay's Bigil left everyone happily shaken. The superstar's super might made this a fantastic watch. It looks perfect for a Diwali release. Vijay plays a sportsman, a coach to women's football team and a local don in the film which makes it a triple treat. Trade Ramesh Bala revealed that Bigil's satellite rights have fetched the makers Rs 25 crore while its OTT rights got it another Rs 20 crore. The latter has been apparently been grabbed by Amazon Prime. It may be very minuscule in terms of its budget but you have to note here is that everything that Bigil will earn upon its release will add to this pie.

Speaking about mounting a film with such a massive budget, AGS Entertainment's Archana Kalpathi told The Hindu, "See, to put in ₹180 crore for a film is no joke. So, it’s first and foremost a job and a responsibility. Especially when he was shooting the intro song. There was a lot of excitement then." She had also revealed they have plans to release Bigil in China.
