Shah Rukh Khan is yet to confirm his upcoming project and fans of the superstar have been eagerly waiting for the same. There have been ample of speculations relating to his upcoming project and not long ago, it was believed that Shah Rukh may be teaming up with South director Vetrimaaran for his next. A few reports also claimed that Shah Rukh was interested in working on a Hindi remake of Dhanush's Asuran. In a recent interaction, the Asuran director opened up about his meet with Shah Rukh Khan and what it was all about. The director confirmed that he is in talks with Suriya, Rajinikanth and Vijay. He revealed that he has already pitched scripts to the actors. When asked about his meeting with SRK, he said, "It was a courtesy call which lasted two hours. We discussed about a lot of things including Asuran. We didn’t discuss anything about remaking Asuran."
While there may not be a Hindi remake for Asuran, the film will be remade in Telugu and will star Venkatesh and Shriya Saran. Looks like Shah Rukh's next will be with Atlee instead of Vetrimaaran. In a recent 'AskAtlee' session on Twitter, the Bigil director almost hinted a collaboration with the Bollywood superstar. We are still awaiting official confirmation from Shah Rukh Khan. As for Vetrimaaran, his next film is with actor-comedian Soori. The film is expected to go on the floors this December.
