Veteran Tamil filmmaker Mani Ratnam has been hospitalised at Chennai's Apollo Hospital. According to reports, the filmmaker has been admitted owing to cardiac issues. The filmmaker has had a history of cardiac issues and has been hospitalised in the past too, he had suffered from a heart attack during the filming of his popular film, Yuva in 2014. Last year too, the filmmaker had complained of cardiac issues and had sought medical help.
The news of his hospitalisation was shared on Twitter. More details about his current condition are yet to come. Mani Ratnam is one of the most celebrated filmmakers in the South industry. He has been the man behind cinematic gems such as Bombay, Dil Se, Ok Kanmani and Guru among more.
