The makers of Thalapathy Vijay's film The Greatest of All Time, aka GOAT, dropped a new song called "Spark" on August 3. The song, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is picturised on Thalapathy Vijay and Meenakshi Chaudhary. This was also the song that properly revealed Vijay's de-aged younger look, a glimpse of which was earlier revealed in a special teaser. Despite major hype, the "Spark" song was met with a cold response from Thalapathy fans. Some were unhappy with Yuvan's score, which they felt offered nothing new. Others didn't like Vijay's 'young' look. In fact, some of them even compared Vijay's goatee appearance with that of Amal Davis.
