No the makers of Bigil haven't had a change of mind and they are still retaining the film's original Tamil title. However, there's a slight change in the title of its Telugu version and we all know what it is. Legendary music composer AR Rahman took to his Twitter account to release Thalapathy Vijay's first look and title from Bigil's Telugu version, Whistle and we think it was a perfect Durga Ashtami gift for all the actor's fans.

The movie is essentially a sports drama with the women empowerment theme to it. This was precisely the reason why Vijay even agreed to sign it in the first place. It revolves around a team of women hockey players and Vijay will play his own younger and older version in it. Speaking about the film's teaser, producer Archana Kalapathy recently revealed that an update on the same will be made on October 7, 2019. "A production house alone does not have the rights to give an update. It all lies in the hands of the direction team. When they say that the product is ready, then we will be able to give an update. I understand that people are curious to see the film. But, it's not right to pressurise the direction team," she said in her interaction with a Tamil magazine. Bigil aka Whistle is slated to hit the screens on Diwali.
