Telugu actress Naga Jhansi recently committed suicide over the reported tiff with her boyfriend, Surya Teja. The Pavithra Bandham actress was in a depression in a few days as per the latest media reports. After her demise on February 5, her boyfriend, also known as Nani has been booked for abetting Naga Jhansi's suicide under Section 306 (abetment to commit suicide) and 417 (cheating) of the IPC. However, they could not get details through her iPhone. On the other hand, they managed to unlock her Samsung phone and grab some details about her call and message records.

Panjagutta sub-inspector (ISI) Chandrasekhar, revealed to the publication, "On the day of suicide, Jhansi had called Surya and spoke to him. Surya spoke to her curtly complaining that she did not call him for two days and disconnected the call. Subsequently, he did not answer her phone calls as he was busy at the workplace."

Jhansi's mother Annapurna informed to the police that Surya had some issues with the actress working in TV serials. He also stopped her from working in them. However, the actress continued to travel to Chennai and also work in the serials, without making him aware of it.
