In a shocking incident, 26-year-old veterinarian reportedly went missing on November 27, 2019. On the morning of November 29, police officials confirmed that they had found a burnt body about 30 kilometres from Shadnagar Telangana. She was identified by her family members on the basis of her locket and the horrific incident has left netizens enraged. The brutal murder has angered not only netizens but also celebs who took to social media to express their grief and also demand justice for the victim. Actors Keerthy Suresh, Sudheer Babu were among the first ones to react to the horrific incident. As per reports, the tragic incident happened when the girl was stranded at Shamshabad after her two-wheeler suffered a puncture. The victim then informed her sister about the location she was stranded at and also expressed concern over being stuck in a deserted area being surrounded by unknown men and loaded trucks. As reported by police, her sister asked her to walk to the nearest toll abandoning her vehicle. No further contact could later happen with the victim as her phone was reported to be switched off.

Police investigations in the murder case are still on. Apart from celebrities, social media users too have shown immense support for the victim's family and have got the case trending hoping that it would help with speedy justice. The victim's body was found by locals who then informed the police. The investigation is still ongoing and police are examining CCTV footage.
