In a shocking turn of events, Tamil actor Siddharth Gopinath's wife committed suicide in Tamil Nadu this morning. It has been reported that Siddharth and his wife, Smrija went out to dinner last night. They returned home having had an argument about something. The two of them reportedly slept in different rooms. When Siddharth woke up in the morning, the door of the bedroom was still locked from the inside. On knocking several times and a few unanswered calls later, he called figured something was fishy. “The couple had gone out last night and after coming home, they had an argument over a personal issue. Looks like the argument went serious that led the woman to hang herself to a ceiling fan late in the night, while her husband was asleep in the hall. We got the information only by today morning. The investigations are on,” an official was quoted as saying by Behindwoods. Th police is yet to figure out about what the heated argument was which lead to Smrija taking such a drastic step.
