Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has invested in a huge property in Mumbai recently as she bought a sea-view apartment in Versova. According to reports, the Baahubali actress bought the flat for Rs 80, 778 per sqft which is more than twice the ongoing rate in the area. As reported by DNA, Tamannah has cracked the deal for the apartment from builder Sameer Bhojwani. What's shocking is that the report also states that nearly 500 metres away from Tamannah's swanky new apartment, the rate in an upcoming building is Rs 35,000-40,000 per sqft. Tamannah's new apartment is located on the 14th floor in a building situated at Juhu-Versova Link road. The building is 22 storeys high. The apartment has a sea view from all four sides. As per the report, Tamannah paid approximately Rs 16.60 crore for the flat whereas the ready-reckoner rate for the apartment is Rs 4.56 crore. The stamp-duty for her flat was Rs 99.60 lakh.
Well, it does look like Tamannah found something special in this apartment and didn't want to let it go on any cost. Buzz is that she is even planning to spend a further 2 crores on the interiors of her new apartment. This is of course, not the first time an actor has paid the double amount for acquiring a flat. Previously, Alia Bhatt too spent more than double the amount for a property in Juhu that she bought as office space for her production company.
