Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi had made a much-hyped comeback to the big screen in 2017 after a gap of 10 years with the film, Khaidi No 150. The remake of Tamil film, Kaththi, the movie was produced by his son, Ram Charan, and was a hit at the box office. It was also Chiranjeevi's 150th film as an actor. Now both father and son are going several levels bigger with Chiranjeevi's next, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. A biopic based on the legendary freedom fighter Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy from Rayalaseema, Sye Raa is believed to be one of the expensive films made in Telugu cinema.
Apart from Chiranjeevi who plays the lead, the movie boasts of a huge ensemble cast with some very prominent stars. Nayanthara is playing the female lead. The first teaser of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy has been revealed in the wake of Chiranjeevi's birthday, and it is just awe-inspiring. Narrating the tale of one of the first freedom fighters against the colonial British rule, Chiranjeevi looks fabulous as the legendary warrior with a touch of Mask of Zorro. The sets look grand and the feel is epic.

Directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan, Sye Raa also marks the debut of Bollywood composer Amit Trivedi in Telugu cinema. It is reported that an investment of Rs 400 crore has been done in the film, for creating the lavish sets. The movie is all set to release next year.
