We have learnt that South superstar Suriya Sivakumar has wrapped up shooting for the Tamil version of R Madhavan’s Rocketry the Nambi Effect. Earlier, LatestLY revealed about Shah Rukh Khan's cameo role details from the Hindi version and now we are giving the deets of what Suriya will be doing in the film. According to our sources, Rocketry has been shot simultaneously in both the languages to maintain continuity and Suriya has an interesting cameo to play in the Nambi Narayanan biopic. The movie is based on the controversial life of Kerela's ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan through his memoir Ormakalude Brahmanapadam (In the Orbit of Memories). Suriya's character is shown to be curious to know about the backstory of Nambi. It is great news for Suriya and Madhavan fans as they reunite on the big screen after a gap of 15 years. They had starred together in Aaytha Ezhutha, directed by Mani Ratnam, where Madhavan played a goon and Suriya a righteous student leader. Madhavan had also worked with Suriya in the 2008 short docu-drama Herova? Zerova? which also featured Thalapathy Vijay. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is currently in the post-production stage. It marks R Madhavan’s directorial debut who also produces this anticipated project. Previously, Anant Mahadevan was to co-direct the film, but he opted to walk out of the project for unspecified reasons. Simran is playing the female lead in the movie. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is a multilingual film which is being made in Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu. However, its release date is not yet confirmed.
