Sarfira, directed by Sudha Kongara, is the Hindi remake of her Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, which originally starred Suriya in the lead role. The Hindi version features Akshay Kumar, Radhika Madan and Paresh Rawal, reprising his role as Paresh Goswami from the original. This marks the debut of 2D Entertainment, founded by Suriya and Jyotika, in Hindi cinema. At the special screening held on July 9 in Mumbai, Suriya and Jyotika, along with lead stars Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan, were present. Jyotika was dressed elegantly in a white top paired with a powder blue blazer and matching pants, while Suriya looked sharp in a white tee, black jacket, and dark grey pants. Their presence added glamour to the event, capturing attention from the paparazzi and attendees alike.

Sarfira is set to release in theatres on July 12 and is produced under the banners of Abundantia Entertainment, 2D Entertainment and Cape Of Good Films.
