SS Rajamouli’s RRR: Shraddha Kapoor to Replace Daisy Edgar Jones?

Reports suggest that the makers of Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR are considering Shraddha Kapoor as the replacement of Daisy.

Director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming big project titled RRR has been the talk of the town since the announcement went social. From having an ensemble cast of Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Jr NTR to the departure of Daisy Edgar Jones, RRR has been grabbing headlines. The movie set in the 1920s also stars Ajay Devgn in a supporting role. The British actor Daisy, who was to be paired opposite Jr NTR, walked away from the project due to unavoidable circumstances. Informing fans about the advancement, RRR makers took to Twitter to share the news. The official Twitter handle of RRR tweeted, “Due to unavoidable circumstances, @DaisyEdgarJones is no longer a part of our film. We hope she has a brilliant future. #RRR (sic)”.

Now, according to a report published in India Today, director Rajamouli is considering Shraddha Kapoor to play the part of one of the female leads. Interestingly, the ABCD 2 actor is soon to make her Telugu debut opposite Prabhas in Saaho. And if the rumours are to be any true then the makers might have been thinking of her to replace Daisy. However, the name of Parineeti Chopra is also listed in the race. SS Rajamouli returns to direction after directing two magnum opus like Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion. Some high hopes are pinned on this historical drama that revolves around the lives of freedom fighters Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. RRR is being made on a whopping budget of Rs 350-400 crores. RRR will release worldwide on July 30, 2020, in ten Indian languages simultaneously.
