Speaking about the same to Indiaglitz, SP Balasubrahmanyam said, “These days, actresses don't know what kind of dress they should wear for film events. Should their behaviour be taken as an act of innocence? Or do they think that only if they wear revealing outfits will heroes and directors give them opportunities? We have reached an all-time low." Ask him if he's worried if he'll be tagged as misogynist, he said, "I wouldn't mind even if my comments anger the heroines. In any case, most of them don't know Telugu, so they won't understand my comments." Well, we think that's a bit mean on his part as who should wear what should ideally be no one's concern.

Of course, he's not the only one to have such a narrow minded thinking. Recent Moushumi Chatterjee at an event in Surat questioned the anchor's dressing style and asked her to dress appropriately. "These clothes you are wearing are not proper, you should wear either a saree or a dress." said Chatterjee.
